We need to protect and keep the entire envelope of this structure. The interior and mechanics should be of little concern. With its fire proof concrete walls and floors it could be made over inside to modern building codes and be a very usefull and prestigious office. A small legal team comes to mind as a possible occupant/ buyer. Private ownership is what would be the most desirable situation. A kick start in the right direction from council is what is needed. No meddling do your job to save it and step back.

Save this historic and heritage building....it is a very important piece of Stratford's history as well as the complimentary architecture of the court house!

As a Heritage Homeowner in a Heritage Conservation District I am appalled that city would even consider demolishing it. This is a short sighted decision by the City of Stratford. This is a landmark. Looks like a Type A Heritage property to me and where I live this would NOT be allowed to come down. They wanted to demolish Stratford City hall at one time. Has this council become Woke or Cancel Culture that is ruining Canadian values? SHAME on them.

It’s these beautiful buildings that make our city unique. Too many have already been destroyed. Fundraising is the answer to save this one.

This is surely a heritage building within Stratford's core. It must be possible to preserve it and find a use for it.

Demolishing these historic buildings is an insult to the downtown core and every business owners who work tirelessly to maintain a unique cityscape. Stop the demolition and embrace Stratford, the city which has more to offer than theatre.

Please! Do not destroy this part of our Stratford History. This sickens me to think that people not connected to this building want to tear it down. My grandfather and his family were on City Council for many years and it would saddened me to have this building destroyed. Think of the history and our council before you came along. All were proud people to represent Stratford in a positive way.
