Using the Ontario Heritage Act to Determine the Cultural Heritage Value of the Registry Office

The attached document uses the framework of the Ontario Heritage Act's Ontario Regulation 9/06: Criteria for Determining Cultural Heritage Value or Interest. A property may be designated under section 29 of the OHA if it meets one or more of the following criteria for determining cultural heritage value or interest. The Perth County Registry Office was found to meet all nine criteria.
